Subscription boxes are curated selections chosen by LoveLit Books & Bake.

• Subscription contents may not be revealed before shipment unless otherwise stated.
• Due to the curated nature of subscription boxes, individual book preferences, dislikes, or genre expectations do not qualify for refunds unless the product is defective or damaged.
• Duplicate books may occur if a customer purchases multiple boxes or special releases unless otherwise specified.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. LoveLit Books LLC is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

5. Merchandise

Merchandise items, including but not limited to apparel, cups, bookmarks, stickers, tote bags, and other bookish products, are created or selected with care.

Because many items may be handmade or customized:

• Minor variations may occur.
• Personalized or custom items may not be eligible for cancellation or return unless defective.

6. Bakery Products

LoveLit Books & Bake offers handcrafted baked goods where permitted under South Carolina cottage food regulations and other applicable requirements.

Customers acknowledge that:

• Ingredients and allergen information will be provided when available.
• Products may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, nuts, and other ingredients.
• Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient information and determining whether products are appropriate for their dietary needs.
• LoveLit Books LLC cannot guarantee allergen-free products.

Due to the handmade nature of baked goods, slight variations in appearance, size, and decoration may occur.

7. Orders and Payments

By placing an order, you agree that:

• All information provided is accurate and complete.
• You authorize LoveLit Books LLC to charge the payment method provided.
• Prices may change at any time but will not affect orders already placed.

LoveLit Books LLC reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order due to suspected fraud, inventory issues, pricing errors, or other circumstances requiring cancellation.

If an order is canceled, customers will receive a refund for eligible charges.

8. Shipping and Delivery

LoveLit Books LLC makes every effort to process and ship orders within the estimated timeframe provided.

Customers acknowledge:

• Shipping times may vary due to carrier delays, weather, holidays, or circumstances outside of LoveLit Books LLC’s control.
• LoveLit Books LLC is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.

For baked goods, customers should follow any storage and handling instructions provided with their order.

• We will cancel any orders outside of South Carolina until further notice due to the limitations of working under South Carolina's cottage food laws.

9. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

Due to the nature of our products:

• Baked goods are generally non-returnable and non-refundable.
• Digital products, subscriptions, and opened book boxes may not be eligible for refunds unless required by law.
• Merchandise returns may be accepted only for damaged, defective, or incorrect items.

Customers must contact LoveLit Books LLC within 30 days of receiving an order with proof of purchase and photographs of damaged or incorrect items.

Refunds and resolutions are handled on a case-by-case basis.

10. Intellectual Property

All LoveLit Books LLC branding, including but not limited to:

• Logos
• Designs
• Website content
• Photography
• Written descriptions
• Marketing materials

are owned by LoveLit Books LLC unless otherwise stated.
